Memo box - Take note

I´ve found this super cute memo box at Bellas and I had to make a box myself. I´ve changed a little bit the measurements (from cm into inches) and added a satin ribbon to lift the stack of paper. This makes it easier to grab a piece of paper.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you ! 

 We had a wonderful Christmas Eve at home with our family and a superb dinner.

 This was our entree: corn salad with raspberries and smoked duck breast... so delicious !

Goodie bags with Snowman Soup

 Yesterday I´ve made 20 of these Goodie bags for the children of my bible-group. We were invited by my friends, the italian "Missionaries of the Immaculate - Father Kolbe". Tiziana made plenty of her gorgeous pizzas for us and we had a wonderful evening, eating pizza and playing Bingo. Before going home the children got the Snowman soup and they were so happy about it !

I´ve seen this orgiami christmas tree on several blogs and I had to try out one myself. It´s much easier to do than it looks like :-) I even think it´s a quick-made card for mass production.

I´ve made this Snowman-card with my students.

I´ve seen this card (in fact the snowman) on another blog, but unfortunately I can´t remember the name of the talented lady.... It´s so cute and I just had to do this snowman-card myself :-)

Cookie Box - Made with love

Here are some of my cookie boxes I´ve made last week. My sister baked the delicious cookies to put inside. It´s a nice little gift for nice people :-)

This is one of my new christmas cards for this year. Very easy to do with white and silver embossing.

The grey folded card measures 6" x 6"
The white glitter paper measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and the baja breeze cardstock (SU) 3 1/2" x 3 1/2", sponged around with baja breeze ink

Paper wreath tutorial

After three attempts I finally managed to upload my new video tutorial on how to make a paper wreath... Hope you enjoy !

Measurements for the wreaths:

- for the small wreath (dia. 3")
8 pieces of paper (or lightweight cardstock): 3" by 1 1/2"

- for the large wreath (dia. 4")
8 pieces of paper (or lightweight cardstock): 4" by 2"

Cupcakes

 This weekend my sister and I had much fun. In fact I´m renovating some rooms in our house and she was baking cupcakes. Some days before we both had seen this funny youtube video with Kiefer Sutherland, alias Jack Bauer baking cupcakes

So, when my sister was busy doing cupcakes I came into the kitchen with my power drill and asked if she needed my help. We almost died laughing. So here are the last ones...

Maybe they don´t look as georgeous as Mr Bauer´s Dynamite cupcakes, but hey... they really tasted terrifically good ! (She added some Black Forest kirsch...)

Cards with wreath

Happy weekend ! I´m still busy with making christmas cards :-) The wreaths are so easy to do ! I´m preparing a video tutorial about how to do the wreath and also about how I make my bows.

Christmas cards in summer ???

It´s obviously not the right season for christmas cards, but hey... I had these ideas in my head and so I´ve decided to make these cards... in summer :-D

 

 My sister crocheted this star. Please don´t ask me how she did it because I don´t know at all how to crochet... so, I´m very thankful that she crocheted some of these fabulous stars for me to use it for making christmas cards. She´s the best !

This card is in fact a waterfall-card and I´m preparing a video for it.

What about frogs... ?

I´ve got this frog punch from Fiskars... isn´t it cute ?! 

Touch

I´m baaaack... after quite a long time !!! My new project was inspired by the American supernatural thriller "Touch" by Tim Kring starring Kiefer Sutherland and David Mazouz. I definitely love that serie and the story behind, based on a chinese legend of an invisible red string of fate that connects people all over the world, no matter the place, circumstances or time. I´ve made an album with the legend and lots of little feet connected to each other.
